Copeland has over two decades experience
in developing integrated brand communications
for corporate, marketing and investor audiences.
He has multiple writing credits in print,
broadcast and interactive media and has
held management positions in the public,
private and nonprofit sectors.
Copeland is the award-winning scriptwriter
for The Healthy Kids Show and served as
the PR director for the American Academy
of Pediatrics. In that capacity, he coordinated
editorial projects with many major publications
and orchestrated a number of high profile
press conferences and media tours.
The former VP for Strategic Communications
at Baker | Brand Communications, Copeland
currently consults with a broad range of
clients on integrated branding assignments
including market analysis, strategy development,
brand positioning and message development.
Notable clients (past and present) include Adaptec, Albertsons, Blue Cross of California, GUESS?, K2, Lakeshore Entertainment, Microsoft, Nationwide Better Health, Qualcomm, Sears Health & Nutrition Centers, Sony Playstation Network, Tenet Healthcare, UCLA and Watson Pharmaceuticals.
Mr. Copeland is a graduate of the Russian
language program of the Defense Language
Institute, has a bachelor’s degree
in communications from the University of
Illinois and an MBA with an emphasis on
integrated marketing communications from
Northern Illinois University.
